Professor and Architect Steven Gedeon will talk about Entrepreneurship.
What is Entrepreneurship? And why is it considered more than a simple economic discipline?
Why is it relevant for education, individuals and society? How can an entrepreneur step over the meaning of "what is" and imagine the "what could it be"?
How can we teach and inspire students to become entrepreneurs, start-up new businesses and try to change the world?
Steven Gedeon is Director at Ryerson Entrepreneur Institute of Toronto, and he is Professor in the "Entrepreneurship and Strategy" course, which let 100 students generate over than 20M$ for companies in last 3 years. He is business angel, venture capitalist and the founder and director of many companies. He was recently awarded the President's Award for Teaching Excellence, which recognizes a Ryerson educator who has demonstrated continuing teaching excellence and who has made contributions to advancing teaching and learning at Ryerson.
